I'm so sorry for your loss. I am waiting for my new parrotlet Beans to be old enough to come home. I hope that I will have the kind of bond that you and Peanut have shared thoughout your time together. Again you have my best wishes

Thanks, Lynn. It amazes me how much I still miss Peanut - I suppose I always will.

I am confident that anyone can have a close bond with a bird. You need to pay attention to your bird, because he or she will tell you exactly what you need to do to make him or her happy - don't force the bird to do what you want, instead do what the bird wants. Go slowly. And love it.

That's pretty easy, really! They're such joys.
