This is Harley:
He's a Timneh African Grey.
His poops are about the size of a Finster's head. On average.
We're going to bring him home with us, in a couple of weeks. We have to rearrange the living room first. He has more furniture than we do.
My head is going to explode.
You know, in that good way.

What a beautiful creature! He looks like he's ready for global --- or at the very least, apartmental --- domination.
We were looking at baby TAG's at the local birdstore this morning, and thinking of your newly expanding family.
How awesome for you all! Harley looks as though he's completely prepared to become the dominant personality in your household, rather than dealing with a multiple-parrot home where his magnificence has competitors. I think it's a great move for all concerned. Congratulations!

(Will he be requiring you to add an aquarium to your home as well? Because, really, I don't know if you can fit anything larger than a fruit jar once Harley's shtuff takes over!)

Yeah, it's pretty funny going from a tiny parrotlet and finches to a very regal African Grey. But I always thought that Peanut had the heart of an eagle, so it kinda makes sense to end up with a lovely, big fellow.
He is totally going to rule our lives.
But Nance is right, we won't have room for a fish tank in addition to all Harley's stuff. He does like his fishies! But I figure he'll like watching the Finsters.
And, um, no. Nance is NOT getting a TAG. Really.
