Today was broccoli day, and wouldn't you know, Peanut actually ate some when I offered him a floret by hand — several bites, in fact! I think he was acutally eating it, too, and not simply looking for seeds inside the little flower buds. Of course, the piece I left in his food dish got tossed onto the floor. While the Finsters eat the florets, they seem to like the stems even more. A big stalk of broccoli, stem peeled to reveal the softer flesh inside, becomes a nice snack, and climbable toy rolled into one.
